Sneh Sanskar Gurukul – Education for Children
A vast majority of students coming from remote areas cannot afford quality education due to their poor financial background. As a response to this issue, we have started schools that are currently running in Jambrung Village near Karjat, Maharashtra and Batala Road, Amritsar in Punjab. The platform of this initiative has been fortified with an intention of bridging the gap between ancient wisdom and modern understanding. Starting with two humble pilot projects, the vision is to have a fully established umbrella marquee offering modern-day education entwined with ageless knowledge in every nook and corner of the nation. As the first step to alleviate poverty, we provide free noon-meal to these students who study and live without having two proper meals a day.
Using a unique blend of modern schooling along with ancient traditional values, the ethos of Sneh Sanskar Gurukul can be summarized as that of providing holistic development of children with respect to mental, physical, creative, intellectual and spiritual growth through an informal setting involving formal education.
